Our investment advisers feature Dr. Mark Skousen, a free-market economist who has been guiding investors for more than 30 years; Doug Fabian, a seasoned investment adviser who heads a wealth management company; Nicholas Vardy, an American with degrees from Stanford and Harvard universities who is a London-based money manager; and Chris Versace, a former equity research analyst who now focuses on tracking trends to help investors profit from the next growth opportunities. Here are our Team Members:

Roger Michalski

Roger Michalski, Eagle Financial Publications’ vice president and group publisher, has been with the company for more than a decade. His experience in publishing spans 20-plus years and includes time working at the prestigious Smithsonian Institution in its catalog division. He has been an invited speaker and presenter at many conferences, including The Money Show, FreedomFest and Specialized Information Publishers Association. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Radford University in Virginia.

Paul Dykewicz

Paul Dykewicz is the editor of Eagle Daily Investor and the editorial director of Eagle Financial Publications in Washington, D.C. He writes and edits for the website, as well as edits investment newsletters, time-sensitive trading alerts and other reports published by Eagle. He also is an accomplished, award-winning journalist who has written for Dow Jones, USA Today and other publications, as well as served as business editor of a daily newspaper in Baltimore. Paul received his MBA in finance from Johns Hopkins University, where he was a two-time president of the school’s Finance Club. In addition, Paul has a bachelor’s degree from the University of Michigan and a master’s degree in journalism from Michigan State University. Outside of work, Paul volunteers with a faith-based organization to assist the poor in Southeast Washington, D.C., to learn personal finance skills needed to lift themselves out of debt.

Wayne Ellis

Wayne Ellis has been involved in the financial publishing industry for more than 15 years. During that time, he has helped to edit, to market and to launch products and services for Ernst & Young, LLC, Fidelity Investments, Agora, LLC, and Eagle Financial Publications. He currently puts his broad-based experience and industry expertise to use as a contributing writer for Eagle Financial Publications. He also is a graduate of Arizona State University.

Jim Woods

Jim Woods has covered the economy and stocks for nearly two decades. His varied experience as a financial journalist, stockbroker and money manager provides him with unique insights into the complex world of investing. He is the co-author of “Billion Dollar Green: Profit from the Eco Revolution.” Jim is a frequent contributor to numerous investing sites, including Traders Reserve, Main Street Investor, Investorplace, StreetAuthority, TradingAuthority and Marketwatch.

Jim holds a B.A. in philosophy from the University of California, Los Angeles, and is a former U.S. Army paratrooper. A self-described “radical for capitalism,” he celebrates the virtue of making money from his horse ranch in Southern California.

Neil George

Contributor Neil George is the former editor of Personal Finance and other investment journals published in the United States, Germany and other nations. Prior to his career in financial media, he worked for more than two decades in six continents in senior positions in investment banking, bond trading, brokerage and asset management companies. His former firms include Merrill Lynch International Bank in Europe, Asia and the Americas, as well as U.S. Bank and Investec PLC. In addition, he worked to build a collection of independent public and private brokerage and fund management companies in Los Angeles and New York. He also serves as an adjunct professor and board member of Webster University’s Walker School of Business and Technology. He has an MBA in international finance from Webster University in Europe and his bachelor’s degree is in economics from Kings College.

Matthew Moniz

Matthew Moniz is an editorial assistant for Eagle Financial Publications. He writes, edits and posts articles for the website, as well as edits and assists in the online distribution of Eagle’s investment newsletters, trading alerts, e-letters and other reports. An alumnus of the University of Notre Dame, Matthew graduated with a B.A. in psychology and English.

Mark Skousen

Mark Skousen, Ph. D., is a professional economist, investment expert, university professor, and author of more than 25 books. He earned his Ph. D. in monetary economics at George Washington University in 1977. He currently holds the Benjamin Franklin Chair of Management at Grantham University. He has taught economics and finance at Columbia Business School, Columbia University, Barnard College, Mercy College and Rollins College. He also has been a consultant to IBM, Hutchinson Technology and other Fortune 500 companies.

Since 1980, Skousen has been editor in chief of Forecasts & Strategies, a popular award-winning investment newsletter. He also is editor of three trading services, Skousen Hedge Fund Trader; Skousen High-Income Alert and Skousen Hot Commodities Alert. Doug Fabian is the editor of Successful Investing and  High Monthly Income and is the host of the syndicated radio show, “Doug Fabian’s Wealth Strategies.”
